Sleepers for Week 13...Shhhh

Adrian Peterson RB Chicago, thats right not Minnesota! Benson out Peterson in. Grab him quick if you can.

If you are completely out of wide receiver choices, Javon Walker WR Denver, who has been out since week 3 will see more action in week 13

Andre Hall RB Denver Selvin Young will probably play but Hall is sure to see some action also. Denver plays 32nd ranked rush defense Oakland in week 13. They will probably both score!

Patrick Cobbs RB Miami could be another super sleeper with Chatman injured and Williams out for the season after 6 plays in Pitt Monday Night. Miami has a great rushing line for whoever runs for them. They face 3oth ranked New York Jets rush defense this week. If you are short at RB Cobbs might be a good alternative.

Fantasy Football Rankings * Passing * Rushing * Receiving * Week 13

THE FOLLOWING CHARTS HELP TO PICK YOUR QB RB AND WR FOR WEEK 12 - There are 3 charts: 1st PASSING; 2nd RUSH; 3rd RECEIVING. The first number is the offensive ranking followed by the ranked team based on yards AND touchdowns. The next team abbreviated by 3 letters is the defensive opponent for the week. The second number is based on how difficult the match-up is for that week. The more negative the number, the better that offensive team (PASS, RUSH, RECEIVE) will perform.

HERE'S AN EXAMPLE:
To use these numbers for fantasy football, imagine you
have to chose between QB Anderson from Cleveland and QB
Palmer from Cincinnati. Whoever has the more negative
number has the better match-up this week. I added the
QB, RB and WR names this week, some of them are subject
to change. These Team stats try to give a realistic
expectation of how that team will perform in passing,
rushing and receiving catagories. The rankings are based
on the team as a whole and should only be used as a
guide.

Week 12 Pick'ems with Confidence Points

Here are week 13's picks. I didn't expect for the Dallas game to be picked with such high confidence. I'm letting the stats make the picks and confidence at this point. We'll see what happens next week. Again the favored teams are in green.

Fantasy Football Rankings * Passing * Rushing * Receiving * Week 11

THE FOLLOWING CHARTS HELP TO PICK YOUR QB RB AND WR FOR WEEK 10 - There are 3 charts: 1st PASSING; 2nd RUSH; 3rd RECEIVING. The charts work like this: the teams are ranked by a special method (similiar to the NFL and USA today rankings by "yards/game" but, with an added element that I believe they have left out...Touchdowns!). The first number is the Rank followed by the ranked Team, after that is the opposing Team for this week. The last number is derived by using the offensive stats compared to the defensive stats. The more negative the number, the better that offensive team (PASS, RUSH, RECEIVE) will perform. HERE'S AN EXAMPLE: To use these numbers for fantasy football, imagine you have to chose between QB Anderson from Cleveland and QB Palmer from Cincinnati. Cleveland has a -13 Cincinnati has a -7, so because of the matchup this week Anderson is the better pick. I added the QB names this week, some of them are subject to change. The RBs and WRs are too numerous to list, but using these charts, their status on the depth chart must always be taken into consideration. These Team stats try to give a realistic expectation of how that team will perform in passing, rushing and receiving catagories. The rankings are based on the team as a whole and should only be used as a guide.

Week 11 Pick'ems with Confidence Points

Here are my picks for week 11 with confidence points. I
changed my statistics formula to include touchdowns in
the equation. Teams are given a relative overall
cumulative strength rating in offense passing/rushing
and defense passing/rushing (from week 1 through week 10).
The two teams playing each other in week 11 are then
compared to each other to reveal the better team. Based
on the rating equation, confidence in which team is more
likely to succeed are given and listed below.

NFL Week 10 Picks Confidence Points

I get these numbers from pure ranking stats with my own
special twist. The first team is the favored team, the
second is the underdog, I've colored the teams green
that my "stats" show will win. The confidence number is
how confident I personally believe the team chosen will
win, 14 being the highest. The team in CAPS is the home
team. My stats show 3 upset games this week: Minnesota,
Philadelphia and Oakland.

Good Luck with your picks!!!

When I pick weekly confidence points I rank pass & rush
offenses and pass & rush defenses by yards/game &
touchdowns (most rankings are based only on the
yards/game like the NFL or USA Today). I then subtract
these rank numbers against who they are playing creating
a formula much like this:
(Off pass rank Team 1 - Def pass rank Team 2) +
(Off rush rank Team 1 - Def rush rank Team 2) for every
team that plays that week. I then cross-reference the
other teams results so I end up with a perfect curve
that gives the highest score to the best outcomes, or
in other words a "confidence" hierarchy. Overall my
results have been good on the number of picks correct,
but not so good confidence-wise; so I have done more
tweaking this week. Thanks for checking out the site!

Good Luck with your picks!!!

THE FOLLOWING CHARTS HELP TO PICK YOUR QB RB AND WR FOR WEEK 10 - There are 3 charts: 1st PASSING; 2nd RUSH; 3rd RECEIVING. The charts work like this: the teams are ranked by my special method (similiar to the NFL and USA today rankings by "yards/game" but, with an added element that I believe they have left out...Touchdowns!). The first number is the Rank followed by the ranked Team, after that is the opposing Team for this week. The last number is derived by using the offensive stats compared to the defensive stats. The more negative the number, the better that offensive team (PASS, RUSH, RECEIVE) will perform. The BYE teams numbers have no meaning. HERE'S AN EXAMPLE: To use these numbers for fantasy football, imagine you have to chose between QB Anderson from Cleveland and QB Palmer from Cincinnati. Cleveland has a 3 Cincinnati has a -14, so because of the matchup this week Palmer is the better pick, Anderson is gonna have problems with Pittsburgh's high ranked defense. The rankings are based on the team as a whole and should only be used as a guide.

Good Luck with your Fantasy Football Picks!!!

Fantasy Football Rankings Passing Rushing Receiving Week 9

THE FOLLOWING CHARTS HELP TO PICK YOUR QB RB AND WR FOR WEEK 9 - There are 3 charts: 1st PASSING; 2nd RUSH; 3rd RECEIVING. The charts work like this; the teams are ranked by my special method (similiar to USA today rankings by yards/game but with an added element that I believe they have left out). After the Rank & Team is the opposing Team for this week. The last number is derived by using the offensive stats compared to the defensive stats (again with the modifier mentioned before). The more negative the number, the better that offensive team (PASS, RUSH, RECEIVE) will perform. The BYE teams numbers have no meaning. Cleveland has a -18 Cincinnati has a -1, so because of the matchup Anderson is the better pick. The rankings are based on the team as a whole and should only be used as a guide. A good example of not following these rankings exactly would be the last 3 week performances of RB L. Johnson from Kansas. Their RUSH offense will naturally be low from the low production in the first 5 weeks, but its really hard not to play L. Johnson at this point no matter how low Kansas has been ranked; in fact I'm sure their ranking will increase substantially in the next few weeks.

Good Luck with your Fantasy Football Picks!!!

NFL Week 9 Picks Confidence Points

I get these numbers from pure ranking stats with my own special twist. The first team is the favored team, the second is the underdog, I have placed an asterisk by the team I've chosen and colored them green. The confidence number is how confident I believe the team chosen will win 14 being the highest. The team in CAPS is the home team. My stats show 5 upset games this week Carolina, Green Bay, Seattle Indianapolis and Houston.

Good Luck with your picks!!!

Fantasy Football Rankings Passing Rushing Receiving Week 8

I am for the first time publicly publishing my Fantasy Football Stats System that I have been using successfully for over 5 years now. There are 3 charts: 1st PASSING; 2nd RUSH; 3rd RECEIVING. To use these numbers for fantasy football, imagine you have to chose between QB Anderson from Cleveland and QB Palmer from Cincinnati. Cleveland has a -15 Cincinnati has a 1, so because of the matchup Anderson is the better pick. The rankings are based on the team as a whole and should only be used as a guide. A good example of not following these rankings exactly would be the last 2 week performances of RB L. Johnson from Kansas. Their RUSH offense will naturally be low from the low production in the first 5 weeks, but its really hard not to play L. Johnson at this point (unless Kansas is on a BYE like this week) no matter how low Kansas has been ranked; in fact I'm sure their ranking will increase substantially in the next few weeks.

College Football Pick'em Week 8

I added these college picks as well this week. I'm not a big college football watcher, but I've been making fairly good picks this season. I just look at both teams and who they have played and compare with the point spread. The teams on the left are favored; odds from Wednesday; teams on the right are the underdog. The teams in green are who I have picked to win either with or against the associated odds.

First of all so there is no confusion, I should have numbered the games listed above 14-1 instead of 1-14 because of how confidence points work. so the points make more sense below with this weeks results. I only lost 4 games BUT they had high confidence points 14, 12, 10, and 8. So even though I picked 10 out of fourteen correct, the four I missed really hurt me in my leagues for the week. However I have committed to following my system for the season. Better luck next week, LOL

NFL Weekly Picks - Week 7

Hello, the current purpose of this Blog is to post my NFL picks of the week by confidence with no spread. In the future I also plan to add a weekly Fantasy Football start/sit predictor that is based on team performance.

The first number is the confidence of the pick, the first team is my prediction to win, the 2nd team is my prediction to lose. In other words out of all the games in week 7, PIT wins over Denver and has the highest confidence over all the other games to win. KCC wins over OAK but has the lowest confidence over all the other games to win.

1 PIT @DEN
2 NEP @MIA
3 PHI CHI
4 SEA STL
5 BAL @BUF
6 TEN @HOU
7 TBB @DET
8 IND @JAC
9 WAS ARI
10 NYG SFF
11 CIN NYJ
12 DAL MIN
13 NOS ATL
14 KCC @OAK

These predictions are based on NFL stats and are used for a weekly NFL Pick Em's league using confidence with no spread. Two noticeable picks are upsets TBB vs DET and has a very high confidence. The second is KCC vs OAK but only has a confidence of 14.

Good Luck with your picks!

You gotta love this stiff-arm Shaun Rogers puts on Selvin Young!!!
